I went through the dripping last year. There is a place in the weatherstrip right about the middle of the window where the two pieces meet. I just had to replace the drivers side frame rail on my top due to corrosion. I had a top off of a 98 on there and the weather got to it I guess. Do you notice any creaking or that side dragging behind the other one while going up or down?

A salvage yard would be the best bet. New ones have Ben discontinued so if you actually find someone with them they are going to make you pay a premium for them.

Quick search shows it is a discontinued part no longer available from a dealer. Your best bet will be a junkyard or one of the parts hounds on here

:welcome: One thing you need to address soon if it hasn't been done is the timing belt. 2.5 is an interference engine so if the belt goes so does the engine.

Just pulled the passengers front strut off my car to disassemble and flip the incorrectly installed bushings. With air tools it was a 25 minute job.

Well with winter coming up you may be able to just bypass the ac for a time. I know at one time there was a post on here with the belt number needed to bypass the ac unit

Terry since I wouldn't want to do it more than once or chase my tail on intermittent issues with an aftermarket I think the price difference would be worth it
