My issue is not related to engine speed. Or low cooolant. It’s just weird. Works 90% of the time then decides to just go cold.

Terry, that is probably what is wrong. Like I said, I put a new cap on and still having the same issue now and again.

Starting to think maybe I am having an odd blend door issue? This has happened now 3 times. I start out and heat is working great. Hot enough to broil me for thanksgiving. I have proven this not to be true. I had mothballs all around my car and mice still got into it. I now put those poison traps in the garage and that seems to be my fix.

How long are you planning on storing it?

Try and keep as many mice from getting in the car as possible. Other than that, sounds like you will be fine.

One thing that is concerning me in all of this is the "green" coolant. There is some coolant that is green that claims to be compatible with all cars, but I don't buy that. This might be why you have ugly looking crap coming out of the system. Different coolant types don't usually mix well...
