. There isn't much pressure on the hydraulic system unless you hold the button when it's already closed or already down which I routinely do when closing because I wanted a tight seal. Let up on the button when it stops moving. The latches are what will make that tight seal. :) :welcome: back!

If you have help, I prefer to both remove and replace the top by going through the doors. There is no roof in the way, and both people can lift it out of the well, then move forward, and, with the seats leaned forward, one person simply walks through the car. On your car, this helps avoid scratching...
