And would Mr. Bandaide be making the pilgrimage this year? ;)

Yes, sorry to hear that Cervelo....it's a great time! Maybe next year?

Yeah, I hope so. I've driven up there (I live in SoCal) ages ago. I wouldn't mind driving there again. :burnrubber:

Glad to see so much interest over here on the Sebring side! I just posted the following message on the Fiero board so thought I would post it here as well. I'm a bit behind because of all of my travels so I appreciate Kevin stepping up and giving everyone the info over here. I look forward to meeting those of you I haven't met before and also seeing again those who have joined us in the past.

And thanks for adding the CSCC stickers for the raffle. I will add a link on the vendors page. If anyone else wants to throw some Sebring goodies into the raffle in exchange for some good advertising, please contact me. Proceeds from the raffle benefits St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Lots of the stuff in the raffle is not car specific so no one will be left out.

Below is what I posted on the Fiero forum today.

Hey everybody... Sorry that I have been out of touch for a bit. Between five weeks of working in San Diego and then 10 days visiting my family in GA I have been a bit behind on the Coast Run website. But I'm glad to say that it is finally all updated and active with the new information. For those of you who took the initiative and went ahead and used the old form to register, thanks... For those who have been waiting, everything is ready and waiting for you. Please feel free to go ahead and register now.

I'll call Manish in the morning to see how the room reservations are going. From what some of you have said, it sounds like it is going pretty well.

Marie and I will be going over there this weekend for our practice Run if anyone wants to join us. We'll arrive Friday evening and stay through Sunday morning just like on the real run.

The Coast Run website is http://www.fiero-performance.com

I know that several of you are at least thinking of coming to the Coast Run. So far, I have one Sebring actually registered.

As an added incentive to go ahead and get registered, I am offering a special gift for every Coast Run participant who registers before the end of the month.

All the information about the Run, the hotel, and registration is on the website at http://www.fiero-performance.com.

Thanks,
Dale

Just over two weeks away! Who's coming? I got a list of reservations from the hotel but no names I recognized.

Don't forget to register on http://www.fiero-performance.com to make sure you get your free gift.

Crap!
Did the math and looked at the time.....doesn't look good for this year :banghead:
We had a great time at the 5th, maybe we can make the 8th if this year doesn't pan out.

These are the registrants I have for the Coast Run so far. This list is registrants only and does not include passengers. If you think you have registered but do not see your name on the list, please register again at http://www.fiero-performance.com. There are a fair number of people who have indicated on forums that they are coming but are not on the list. Please help me out so I can finalize plans with the caterers. Thanks.

Kevin S
Roy W
Terry K
Brianna L
Jeannie C
Dale H
Bart W
Shane W
Carolina W
Deb G
Larry N
Rick W
Ed P
Jaime B
Michael C

These are some other names that the hotel says MIGHT be part of our group. Do any of them look familiar/ I don't have registration forms to match any of them.

Less than two weeks away!

These are the vendors who have donated items for the St Jude Charity raffle so far. There is still time to get on this list. If you would like to make a donation of a raffle item, contact me at info at fiero-performance.com me with details and let me add your logo and link to my list.

I just get a really big tickle out of seeing CSCC in the midst of all those Fiero vendors. ;)

Songman! I'm glad your keeping us in the loop. One of these years I will be out there with my Sebring.

That Highway 1 drive is well known to me. I used to come across from Palo Alto (actually Castro Valley, the old homestead, through Hayward) and pick it up at Half Moon Bay. Then run all the way down to Cambria and pick up 46 to cut back to Paso Robles where my parents have some acreage west of town. Used to drive them nuts wondering why it took me so much longer to get there than it did them. Of course they came down US 101. I'll take the view anytime I can.

That was back in the late 70's in my 63 Karmann Ghia Convertible. Topless even then....

I hope that you have another year with a great turnout and lots of fun for all!

I'm tickled seeing all those vendors supporting our Run and St Jude. Never been a more worthy cause in my opinion.

Well, we have had two prior years with one Sebring each. This year, according to my registrations, we have two Sebrings so that is a good thing! I'm still holding out hope that another one or two might decide they can make it. And I do hope you can join us sometime before we get some crazy Motor Law that eliminates fun cars and driving just for the fun of it! haha

I went over and ran the route last weekend and other than a couple of patches of rough road everything is ready for us. (I run 46 on my way over there and back too!)

I think it is going to be a good year and I hope Kevin and Jaime (and passengers) have their hippie outfits ready for the dinner and raffle Saturday night. If they do, I promise I'll post pictures!

Hippie outfits? Not even sure what that would look like, guess I am going to have to go to goodwill/thrift sbope and see if there is anything....

Wow, hippie costume eh?

I'll have to work on that. Maybe I'll let the beard keep growing? barring any job interviews face to face.

Seems I'll be arriving solo. My friend from Houston now has to work that weekend. So he's going to do that so he's not one of the layoffs soon coming to his project.

Updated Vendor List

I'm excited to add Grant Products to the Vendor List for this year. This is their first year supporting the Coast Run and I hope you will all show them how much we appreciate them.

Ok people! In the words of Ken Kesey:

"You're either on the bus or off the bus"

Let's make sure you're on THIS bus this weekend!
