The car had a clunk in the front end. Found driver's side control arm bushing torn. I ordered the parts from Rock Auto and did the lower controls arms and did the struts using a loan a tool spring compressor from AutoZone.
I did reuse the rear strut mounts but bought new front mounts due to the extra stress they get.
The air tools made it easier.
Things I learned:
Heat and penetrating oil helps
Air tools and breaker bar helps
Remove struts to replace lower control arms
To release control arm from ball joint hit the steering knuckle hard with a small hand sledge hammer.
